Ensure Your AEDs Work When Needed

Part of having a compliant AED Program involves keeping the AED units ready to operate when the need to save a life arises. Your AED units have components that require replacement over time. The two main components that PlusTrac™ monitors for are the:

• Expiration of the AEDs electrode pads and
• Replacement of the AEDs batteries.

If these items are not replaced when their expiration come due, PlusTrac™’s escalating reporting system will activate and inform the proper program personnel that the routine maintenance has not been performed and that immediate action is required, ensuring the program is always in compliance and that the AEDs are prepared for use.
